Inspirational How-To is a Game Changer for New Entrepreneurs

Chad Scott Announces the Release of Entrepreneurial Memoir and Guide, “The Poster Boy: Small Towns, Big Ideas, and the Reality of Becoming an Entrepreneur”

Chicago, IL, Release: July 1, 2022. For Immediate Release

“The Poster Boy: Small Towns, Big Ideas, and the Reality of Becoming an Entrepreneur,” a new book from Chad Scott, owner and founder of Ultimate Team Products, is a unique memoir-guide that tells his rags-to-riches tale of entrepreneurship while providing practical wisdom and actionable guidance for readers interested in starting their own business. The book release on December 1, 2019 follows the launch of “The Poster Boy” podcast and will culminate in an online academy and a press tour that brings Scott and his inspirational message to high schools around the country.

Peter Foyo, CEO of Principal Standard Group and former CEO & Chairman of Nextel de Mexico, writes in the foreword, “If you want to succeed in business and life, that’s exactly what you’ll do with Chad’s book… Take my advice and listen to what he has to say.”

Scott built Ultimate Team Products from a few posters in his dorm room into a multi-million dollar business with 30 locations and 130+ team members. In “The Poster Boy,” he offers real talk about the everyday problems entrepreneurs face with practical tools and tactics for starting a business, peppered with life lesson anecdotes about his own successes and failures in growing his company.

“I wrote ‘The Poster Boy’ to give entrepreneurs a head start in business and learn how to create an organization that gives as good as it gets. Entrepreneurship is not for the faint-hearted. Readers will learn through my tales of stupid mistakes, ridiculous problems, and innovative solutions and come away with real-world hiring and funding advice and the motivation to start their business today.” says Scott.

When Scott embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, he didn’t have funding or a wealthy network of contacts, and he had to learn the hard lessons of business through real-life experience and making mistakes. “You can tell a lot about a person and a business by the quality of its problems,” Scott often reflects, as he heard from his college professor. “The Poster Boy” offers readers real-world advice through an exploration of the problems Scott has faced during his career.
